Arrests made in Securicor raid investigation

THREE people have been arrested in connection with a burglary at a Group 4 Securicor depot in Droitwich last November.

West Mercia Constabulary officers arrested a man and a woman in Tamworth and another man in Birmingham this morning.

They were questioned in connection with the burglary at the Berry Hill Industrial Estate depot, which took place about 8.40pm on Monday, November 5.

We previously reported how thousands of pounds were taken from the depot.

All three were released on police bail and ordered to return to Worcester Police Station, Castle Street, on Wednesday, September 3, while enquiries continue.

Anyone with information on the bonfire night burglary should call police on 08457 444888, and ask for the Operation Storm incident room. Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
